Karen Poles has been investing in real estate for over 20 years. She specializes in Resident Real Estate, growing investment portfolios, rehabbing and takes great pride in working with Disabled Americans and American Disability Act (ADA). Karen has a MA in Education from Arcadia University, formerly Beaver College. She is also a Realtor, and holds SFR Certification as specialty in Short Sales. Karen believes that staying on the cutting edge of technology and the latest trends is the key to success. She has been trained by the some of the world's greatest trainers and institutions such as Temple University, Fox Business School, Wendy Patton, Dwan and Bill Twyford, Bill Becker, Don Beck, Randy Poulson , Anthony Russo and Wall Street Journals Top Realtor, Johnny Loewy. Despite Karen's 25 years experience in educating individuals to make the right decision, she believes that it is not about one home for her clients but rather a lifetime of homes. With a strong background in mathematics she brings this experience to work for her clients to help make better financing decisions. Karen is a member of Diversified Real Estate Investors Group (DIG), Home Owners Association of Philadelphia, (HAPCO), Pennsylvania Residential Owners Association (PROA), National Association of Realtors, (NAR) and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. In her off time, she enjoys ceramics, listening to audio books, soap making, novice home brewing, and helping today's youth understand their true potential in life and how to achieve their dreams. Karen was born and raised in the City of Philadelphia and can not wait to show you why she never left. Philadelphia has tremendous history and she looks forward to showing you how fascinating this great City of Brotherly Love can be. Her interests include salsa dancing, travel, funk music, and learning to speak Spanish. She volunteers on the Publications Committee for Soka Gakkai International (SGI) and continues to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity and her neighborhood block association.
